Marco Donati, founder of Donati Racing started his sailing adventure in 2001 when he was named head of Mascalzone Latino electronics department for the 31st America's Cup in Auckland (NZ).
In the following edition, from 2004 to 2007, was part of the Luna Rossa Challenge team in Valencia (ESP).
Before the 33rd America's Cup became a challenge between Alinghi and Oracle, he worked with Team Germany.
In 2008 Marco joined Team BMW Oracle and took part in the 33rd edition and won the “Old Mug” in Valencia.
Since then Marco has worked as a freelance for various projects until he founded Donati Racing in 2016.
In 2017, Donati Racing will contribute to the completion of the Emirates Team New Zealand multihull in Auckland, which will then win the 34th America's Cup in Bermuda.
At the present Donati Racing continues look after the TP 52 and MAXI 72.
